Bahamas Cruise September 2012: Nassau

When we got back from our last cruise we decided to go on another. We were hoping by going on a shorter less expensive one we could convince some others to come with us. It didn't happen that way, but we had an amazing, relaxing time.

Our first full day was in Nassau. We decided we wanted to go to Atlantis Waterpark. It was WAY cheaper to buy the day pass from the hotel, rather than going through the ship. This waterpark was AWESOME! It has this lazy river that isn't really lazy - it is more like an adventure with rapids, tunnels, and even huge waves that push you. There were even conveyor belts that take you up to some of the rides. There are tons of pools and multiple aquariums to peruse. We had a great time.

We then took a taxi over to Fish Fry to get some conch salad and Omar some fish. It started raining toward the very end of our time in Nassau, but other than that we had gorgeous weather.
