Final Scout Campout

This was Omar's last campout with the scouts. I was given permission along with the Scoutmaster's wife to go on this campout. We brought really most all of the food that they would be eating and it was really funny to watch them cook the food. The weather was beautiful and the evening was cool. We stayed at Osceola State Park at the 15 mile camp site.

Breakfast was sausage, some raw hashbrowns, and some very scary looking eggs.
Yes they are wearing a paintball mask to block the smoke while cooking.

Our First Year Anniversary

Omar Surprised me and bought me a tres leches cake (that is why it  is shown runny in the picture). Each year I will get a different cake on our anniversary

So we spent our first year anniversary (March 8) in Savannah, Georgia. It was a very relaxing long weekend together. We had a great time. Really all that we did was eat, walk, sleep, eat and walk, eat and walk and then sleep. It is truly a place for drinkers and eating. We stuck with the eating. Savannah has the largest Historic District in the country. There are some awesome houses and the history there is just incredible!!! We stayed at the Hampton Inn right on the main street of the Historic District. It was a very memorable First Year together.
