Day 3: Cozumel

We arrived in Cozumel at about 7 AM Miami time (6 AM local time). It was beautiful, but not much was open when we arrived.

This was a resort hotel. It looked beautiful. they had a small little beach access and some pools. We went up to see what it was and they told us we could stay for $40/pp. Yeah right!

there was a really pretty park in Cozumel that even had birds.

We visited this Turkish rug store - very cool all these handmade rugs that will last forever.
the cool escalators going up to Mega (their version of a Wal-Mart), we bought some Jamaica flowers.
someone offered to take our pictures in front of Margarittaville.
there was this little village in the town all set up for Christmas - it looked as though the party would come at night time.
After shopping we went back to the ship to change into swimming attire and took a taxi to Paradise Beach. They had these cool little floaties in the water that we played on and we just relaxed in the sun. I also did some snorkeling, but it was super lame! We never did do the kayaks there.
Can you spot what is missing in this picture? Oh wait! It is the stars on the American Flag.

I didn't see anyone rent a jet ski while we were there - who would want to pay those crazy prices?!

Each port had a Fat Tuesday. It is basically a place to get alcohol, but they have these fun little things to take pictures with.
My ID's being checked by the security man to go back to our ship.
Omar and I on the dock outside the boat.
our ship next to a Holland American ship. Our ship is the bigger one.

the water is just beautifulth
