My last mission companion was Shannon Hill. She is now Shannon Day. We served in the New Braunfels area. I was her step-mom. That means that she had only one companion in the field before me who was her trainer (mom), so that made me her second companion or step-mom. We had a lot of fun together. She came in town to Orlando for a convention with her family. It worked out perfectly. I was able to drive down to see her and eat dinner with her the night before we left for Miami. It was fun to meet her parents and husband. We went and ate dinner and talked. I hope to one day go out and visit her in Bakersfield, CA.
